Meet Lindsey Reese
Lindsey Reese is the owner and head trainer of Positively Dogs Behavior and Training and is a long time professional in the animal industry. Lindsey has been working with dogs for 20 years and her experience has allowed her to work hands on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Lindsey’s career has included kennel management, professional dog grooming, horse training, canine behavior, and veterinary support care for large and small animals. Her professional dog training career was launched by apprenticing under internationally recognized author and positive trainer Pat Miller. After graduating from the apprenticeship program Lindsey went onto develop multiple behavior and training programs for pet retreats and shelters and then launched Positively DOGS in 2011.
Teaching people about dogs is a passion Lindsey has continued to follow. Whether she is mentoring dog trainers working toward certification, teaching pet care staff, or supporting her training students, her eye for detail creates a fun and educational learning environment that is second to none.
Lindsey’s commitment to positive reinforcement training continues through education where she holds certification as a CPDT-KA. She is committed to keeping her skills and knowledge up-to-date by attending annual accredited conferences that include APDT, Clicker Expo, and accredited educational seminars presented by the nations’ top positive trainers.
When not training dogs, Lindsey enjoys calling Annapolis Maryland home where she shares her canine enriched life with her supportive husband, 2 daughters, and Coon Hound named Pickles.
